programs, and directed operations at Carleton Technologies
(“Carleton”), an aerospace manufacturer. Specifically he
directed the design, development, and testing of closed

Bruce branched off from Carleton to join or
consult with start-up companies requiring vision and
direction. Some of the most notable of these technology
companies included Infineer, Leap Frog, and VeriFone.
VeriFone, an electronics payment corporation, was involved
in the Smart Card and Payments industry. Bruce’s expertise
enabled him to serve as a product manager for the
development and deployment of Smart Card hardware and
software products. He participated in engagements for these
companies as a technical consultant, providing solutions for
problems related to information security, identity theft,
and computer/internet fraud.
Bruce has led Design Teams engaged in software/hardware and
mechanical development. As a Global Product Line Manager for
security hardware and software, he successfully launched a
high security PIN entry device, managed $40+ million POS

in the information security world, he has been asked to
serve as a member of the ANSI X9-F6 Electronic Payment
Encryption Committee.
During his work with companies involved with security
software-hardware integration, Bruce developed an Access
Control-Biometric-Smart Card Solution for airports and smart
